If the defrost drain is frozen the water will overflow the drain trough and drip down to the bottom of the compartment. Use a sturdy container to press and hold the water dispenser pad for 5 seconds then release it for 5 seconds. It is fed back into the door at the dispenser and will follow a channel in the insulation in the door. The connector at the bottom of the door will need to be removed and the water line pulled up through the door.

A loose water connection could cause the water dispenser to drip occasionally or continuously. Remove the filter and inspect it for cracks or damage. Check the defrost drain to determine if it is clogged or frozen. Is the water filter damaged.

The water line is 1 4 in diameter and may be purchased at any hardware store. This water can eventually leak onto the floor. If the freezer leaks water inside it s possible that the defrost drain froze. If the defrost drain is frozen thaw the ice.
